Class arrangement during COVID-19


The COVID-19 situation may still be fluid and constantly affect class arrangements in the coming months. The health and safety of our students will always be our top priority. This course aims to teach participants professional knowledge of the insurance industry and develop the professional skills required by industry leaders。The course uses an example teaching method to inculcate the personnel management and financial knowledge necessary for the insurance industry。

A unique course for insurance practitioners to develop the professional skills required by industry leaders。
The purpose of the course is to teach the basic tips of insurance sales management and human resource management。

The course is divided into three modules and lasts a total of 60 hours

 

Module 1: Sales Management and Leadership (20 periods)

Leadership in sales management

Recruitment and selection of sales staff

Sales training

Development of prediction

Incentive and reward systems

Determine the efficiency and performance of sales staff

Notes for course/Course Registration:

  7. Fees paid are not refundable, except in exceptional circumstances (e.g. courses cancelled due to insufficient enrolment) or as required by law。
  8. If you have been selected for admission, the official receipt does not serve as proof of acceptance。Applicants will be notified of their acceptance as soon as possible after the closing date。Unsuccessful applicants will receive a refund of their tuition fees。

Method of payment
1. Cash, EPS, WeChat Pay or Alipay

Applicants can Pay their tuition fees by cash, EPS, WeChat Pay or Alipay in person at any of the school's enrolment centres。

2. Check or cashier's check

If paid by crossed cheque or cashier order, payable to "School of Continuing and Professional Development, University of Hong Kong"。Please write the name of the course and applicant's name on the back of the cheque。  You can:

  • Submit crossed cheque, application form and supporting documents in person at hkCEE enrolment Centres;
  • Please mark "apply for enrolment" on the envelope. However, the Institute is not responsible for the loss of cheques due to postal errors。
3. VISA ╱ Mastercard

Payment can be made with VISA or Mastercard (including "hku Mastercard") at any enrolment centre of hku。10 months of interest-free instalments for hku college of professional and development Mastercard holders with enrolment of hk $2,000 are eligible。For details, please contact the staff of the College Enrolment Centre。

4. Online Payment Service

Most open enrolment programmes (on a first-come-first-served basis) and individual qualification programmes provide online registration/registration services. Matters needing attention:

  • If you apply for a course, the course will start within 5 working days. To avoid post delay, you are advised to register in person at the College enrolment Centre and avoid paying by cheque。

  • All fees paid are non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances as determined by the Institute (e.g. courses cancelled due to insufficient enrolment)。如獲學院批准退還款項,以現金、易辦事、微信支付、支付寶、支票或繳費靈(只限網上付款)方式繳交之款項,將以支票退款;以信用卡繳交之款項,退款將直接退還到支付款項時使用的信用卡戶口。
  • There may be additional fees for individual courses in addition to the tuition fees listed on our website. Please contact the relevant academic staff for details。
  • Tuition fees and places are not transferable。Once accepted, students are not allowed to transfer to other courses. However, the College may exercise discretion in special circumstances。A handling fee of HK $120 will be charged once the application is approved。
  • The Institute will issue a payment receipt to the applicant upon receipt of the payment. However, the Institute is not responsible for any loss of the payment receipt in the mail。
  • If students wish to apply for a certificate of payment, please return the completed application form together with a crossed cheque and a self-addressed envelope with sufficient postage to the Institute。The application fee for each receipt is HK $30。Cheque made payable to "School of Professional and Continuing Education, University of Hong Kong"。
